Gary and Amanda's Home on the internet

Tokyo Japan, in October 2008

I got out to the ward of Shinagawa in Tokyo this Fall for a little business trip.  It had been 14 years since the last time I had been to Japan.  In this time I think a lot changed.  I noticed prices seemed cheaper.  My trip from the Narita airport to Tokyo only cost $30.00, however last time I was there it was $350.00.  Food seemed to cost less too, maybe half as much.  Shinagawa has really grown and modernized since the last time I was there.   Downtown Tokyo was basically the same, but Ginza looked newer too.

It's too bad I didn't have more time to look around, the only place I got to see was the Ginza area, and that was just for 2 hours, and for business.  Next time I would like to see some country areas outside of the city of Tokyo.  I always wanted to see some Japanese fishing villages.

Well for some reason it took me 2 days to recover from that trip, I must be getting old.  Take a look at a few of the pictures I took.
