My wife and I live in the San Diego area in the little area called Bonsall, California.    Amanda, my beautiful wife is a full time college student studying psychology, and I (Gary) work at a major consumer electronics company.  Also in our small family you will find two cats, Snuggles and Lucky, as well as dozens of fish.

Mandy enjoys animals, school, tv, and collects ornaments. Mandy is a dedicated "I Love Lucy" fan, and may know more about the subject than just about anyone.  Mandy's native country is New Zealand, which she left in 2001 to be with me. Her next big thing will be getting her degree, and US Citizenship this year.

I have more hobbies than time these days.  Some of these include fine photography, woodworking, fish keeping, design, microcontrollers, electronics, cars, tools, web design, and cooking. My day job is really getting in the way of all of the extra pursuits. 

So far I have have lead quite a colorful life, from serving on a Trident submarine, to working on airplanes, cameras, robotics, computers, electronics, and now HDTVs as a Senior Engineer.  In the future I want to get my own business where my hobbies could pay the bills.

People ask us, so you have been married for 5 years, where are the childern...? Well, we plan to try have kids some time next year (May 2009).  We will let you all know when it happens.

Well after 12 years of maintaining the web site on complementary servers, I finally decided in October 2007 to go big time and bought a real web site.  http://www.garyandamanda.com was commissioned and as time permits I am gradually adding content, as well as moving content off the old servers. If you haven't already, please bookmark this new site. This much more powerfully internet property will allow, blogs, videos, tons of pictures, and much better performance.  I hope you enjoy the content here.
