About the Steiner Museum of Modern Art:

The Steiner Museum of Modern Art (SMMA) was founded in 2008, and features a gallery of fine artworks focusing on works from here in the San Diego area.  Each work is an original creation, and probably cannot be found anywhere else on the internet.   SMMA was created in an effort to provide world wide access to fine art by local artisans, and in addition save the environment by eliminating the actual physical museum building itself.  Our goal is to bring these works to the public at the highest practical resolutions.  You will find few other online galleries that are willing to provide such stunning detail without asking the patrons to make a purchase or redirecting them to attend a real museum.  All this, and without membership for viewing.   

To continue to keep SMMA open, donations are appreciated, and will contribute to the commissioning of future museum exhibits.  If you desire a higher quality version of a piece, wish to order a print, have an artwork you would like to be considered for exhibition at SMMA, or need rights to use an image please fill free to contact me.  

Although the west wing corridor has opened, some rooms are still empty, and other corridors are still under construction as of  November 1st, 2008.  Also at this time we really need additional content.  If you have anything you're considering for exhibition, please let us know.  We need your contributions to make SAAM the best museum possible.

In addition, any comments are welcome, and may be added to the discussion room.  To aid in providing proper access to all, the software contained in this site will remain simple and should be compatible on any device that can access the internet.  For best viewing, it's recommended to have a full HD monitor (1080x1920), and high speed internet access.  Above all Enjoy, and don't forget to visit the gift shop!  (when we open it that is).
